Lessons I’ve learned in the past couple days:
- If the peel on a banana slights breaks open and you leave it sitting on your counter anyway, fruit flies will invade.
- If your husband is at work and the plunger doesn’t work, dish soap and hot water will unclog a toilet.
- If you insist on picking a monster zit on your forehead, you will end up with a giant scab. (Lovely.)
- If you procrastinate too long, you will create massive amounts of unnecessary stress.
I’d tell you more about that last one, but I’m out of time. Seriously out of time. I have put off a major, big-deal, important-to-me-and-others project WAY too long and am currently at Def Con 5, Red Alert, heart-attack-and-ulcer-inducing panic stage.
So, while I flap around my house in a state of pure adrenaline and nonsense (and, I’ll admit it, a bit of self-loathing, because really? I KNOW BETTER.), you should check out these great posts from this month.
{I know. I KNOW. I said I would share posts more often to avoid giving you a crazy long list all at once. I did. I said that and then, what did I do? Pretty much the opposite. I’m sorry. I’ll try harder. But I promise – I promise! – all of these posts are worth a read.}

Two more things. I happened upon this and feel it’s my duty, as a devoted Gilmore Girls fan, to share it with you: The Rory Gilmore Reading Challenge. And, in honor of last week’s long-awaited and glorious return of Parks & Recreation, enjoy this video.

This post will be linked to Linky Love at Vanderbilt Wife.

Wow- that Rory Gilmore Reading Challenge is intense! I think I will stick to my own To Read list. Love the Adam Scott video.
Hope you can get a little rest and relaxation time in this weekend!
Thank you so much for the mention! I know what you mean about procrastinating. I’ve been trying to get out of the habit, but it’s so hard.
