Sooooo . . . you may have noticed things look a little different around here. (Although, if you’re viewing this post in a reader or email, you may not.) I’ve been working with a great designer to make over this site, and she’s done a fantastic job.
You know who hasn’t done a fantastic job? ME. I kinda, sorta forgot that while she was working on all the creative, pretty, techy stuff . . . I was supposed to be working on a few things.
Oh yeah, right.
So while the site has a pretty new face, I’m not quite ready to give you the grand tour yet. Give me a few days, though, and I’ll be shouting from the rooftops about my fancy new site. And, oh yeah, giving away something pretty, too.
This isn’t the only ball I’ve dropped lately, and as a thoughtful friend pointed out, it’s not life or death. So I’m taking a deep breath, and giving up on perfect. (And then letting out that breath in a big ol’ grumpy sigh. Of course.)

And yes, I know all about dropping balls. Too much going on, and I start forgetting things. Major things. It’s like my brain deletes stuff because it’s overloaded!

You’re awesome, Mary! (And so is your website). Honestly, the fact that you’re not “on top of it” right now sorta helps me more than if you had this huge site-revealing, everything-is-perfect party. You just get up and keep going, and that speaks to me:) Thanks:)
