This is wonderful and helpful. I especially like your list of tips. I have always wanted to try once-a-month cooking but it seems very overwhelming - breaking it down like this is a big help.

Also - can I just say I love the photo of your freezer! I have a freezer about the same size and always think "Where would I put all the meals if I ever even made them!?!?" Your pic really helped ;)

Oh my word! I am impressed!

Being one of seven, my Mom adopted the once-a-month cooking idea. Some day, really, I'm going to try it! I think it is a great concept -- especially during the summer when we're running and I don't want to cook at the end of the day -- and don't want to do fast food.

I think whatever you can do to be organized pays off in the long run -- and girl, if I lived close, I'd come over and cook with you. I really think the once-a-month cooking is a GREAT idea!!!

Hugs!

Love this - you're so much more "with it" than I!

I should make the cheesy potatoes and freeze them...I often skip the starch simply because it takes too much time! (Eh - eating all of the food groups is overrated...)

i do that sometime with lasagna and taco meat. we've thought about doing that with chicken, but never have. i really should!

okay... you must have another freezer in your garage or something because that wouldn't all fit in your little fridge freezer, would it?!
