I guess so. I'm not sure what's worse: the fact that I can't count, or the fact that my other friends can't, either!

In my defense, I don't normally read one of those magazines – it was just a one-time deal.

As much as I want to read them, I've given up on magazine reading…they just collect dust in my magazine rack. I'm all about trying to keep up with the 148 blogs I follow (and am failing miserably at it with over 1100 unread posts).

My favorite thing to read are blogs!

I receive a free year subscription to Women's Running each time I'm in the Irongirl 10K (this Sunday, btw!), and I'll soon be receiving Coastal Living again. They bribed me with 11 issues for $10.00, which I thought was reasonable.

And then you know about my newest book challenge... The Ministry of Intercession by Andrew Murray. So far I've finished two chapters and the question that keeps coming to mind while reading is... "Uh?"

I just finished Feminie Appeal, but am in the midst of an old Agatha Christie novel as well as a Gilbert Morris I hadn't read yet. One of my favorite questions to ask friends is what are you reading right now? It brings about a lot of good recommendations as well as a lot of interesting conversations;)

And I get Cosmo, Family Fun, Old Schoolhouse and Taste of Home.

Half Price Books sells magazines at half price. Or for as little as 50 cents. I just bought 20 (yes, TWENTY) back issues of Domino for a grand total of $10 (yes, TEN AMERICAN DOLLARS).

So, uh, I, too, am in a bit of a reading coma.

I get about three magazines per month and I got them free through various promotions!

I always have about three books that I am reading at any given time…and they take me about a month each to read- getting in a few pages a day before bed :)

I much prefer a good book to a magazine. I finished Molokai’ by Alan Brennert about a Leper colony on a Hawaiian Island…very good. Beneath a Marble Sky By John Shors, a love story about the building of the Taj Mahal (fictional)…started out good, but kind of boring by the end…it did spur me to research the building the the Taj Mahal, which fascinated me. I love books that cause me to research the true event. One of my favorites was My Sister’s Keeper by Jodi Picoult…I love Jody Picout, all of her novels face a very controversial topic bringing up both views. My favorite magazine? Dwell…Love it! or Cuisine At Home…I love cooking recipes that veer from your average ho hum.
